Background: Bernice was found on the streets early this year in Paju, Korea.

Current Environment: Currently, she is at a boarding facility living with other dogs.

Personality: Bernice is very gentle and quiet. She has a submissive and friendly nature with medium to low energy. She is pretty easy-going.

Behaviors: She is good with a car ride and taking a bath. No experience with cats and young children. She is peepads-trained. She is new to a leash, following you around but gets nervous in a new environment and busy streets. Her adopter must be patient, allowing her to adjust slowly to walking with a leash in the new environment.

Socialization: Bernice has a pretty easygoing personality and is good with people including men. She is comfortable with people and not shy around strangers. She is chill with other dogs and gets along well.

Health: When Bernice was rescued, we noticed that she had a trace on her belly that looked a lot like a cesarean section mark. She underwent a comprehensive vet checkup. She is healthy and ready for her forever home. Bernice is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and receives monthly flea, tick, and mosquito preventatives.

Ideal Home: Bernice would thrive in a quiet environment. A home where someone works from home or is retired, able to provide the time and attention Bernice needs, would be great for her.
