Bekie had a tough start, being tied outside where she couldn’t even sit down comfortably. Day after day, she waited for help. One of our volunteers stepped in, and after several attempts to convince the owner, he finally agreed to let her go. Bekie then moved to our boarding house and has since been living happily with other dogs.
Bekie’s a friendly and smart dog. She picks up things fast and always wants to make people happy. She doesn’t get upset if left alone and doesn’t bark much. Since we saved her, she’s been really happy.
Bekie stands out among many rescue dogs; she doesn’t shy away from strangers. Instead, she welcomes them with wagging tails and hopeful eyes, always seeking affection and company. She’s sociable, attentive, and quick to pick up cues from those around her.
A fan of the outdoors, Bekie cherishes her walks and basks in the moments she shares outside with her human companions. She is the ideal furry friend for anyone desiring a loving and loyal partner. First-time dog parents will find her manageable, and she’d thrive best with someone who works from home or is retired — someone who cherishes the outdoors as much as she does and can offer her ample time and love.
