Baeksong

Background: Baeksong was one of seven poodles found chained and neglected on a farm last fall. It’s believed they were hidden there by a puppy mill owner. Thankfully, they were rescued and taken to a private shelter, where they began their journey to a better life. Baeksong is currently living with other dogs at our boarding house as he prepares for his adoption.

Personality and Socialization: Baeksong embodies the affectionate and intelligent nature of a classic poodle. He is friendly, adaptable, and loves being around people. With a medium-to-high energy level, he enjoys both playtime and snuggles. A true cuddle bug, Baeksong isn’t shy with new people and quickly warms up to strangers.

He also gets along well with other dogs, making him a great companion for a multi-dog household. His friendly and easygoing nature allows him to adjust well to new environments.

Behaviour: Baeksong is well-behaved in the car, during baths, and at vet visits. He is generally quiet and only barks when excited, such as during mealtime or when greeting visitors. While he has limited leash-walking experience, he enjoys following his human and is eager to learn. His friendly and adaptable nature makes him an easy and enjoyable companion.

Health and Diet: Baeksong is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He takes monthly parasite preventatives, and all parasite tests, including heartworm, were negative. He eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Baeksong thrives in a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention. A family where someone is home most of the time—whether retired or working remotely—would be ideal. He would do well as a second dog but would also be happy as a solo pup as long as he has plenty of human companionship.

With his affectionate and adaptable personality, Baeksong would be a great fit for first-time dog parents. He is a loving, snuggly sweetheart who will bring endless joy to his forever family!
