Update: Yorom has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Yorom and brother were rescued from a highkill shelter in Masan, Korea. His brother was adopted right away, but Yorom was too shy and scared of everything that he didn’t get a second chance. Yorom was sent to dog training school for six months. The main concern for him was his lack of confidence; he was insecure and scared of everything. Anyway, Yorom successfully completed his training recently and is ready for his new life.

The video below was taken at a boarding house after a week from his graduation. In the beginning, Yorom was quiet and shy; he needed his time and space. After a week, he came out and started following the boarding house manager and showed interests and affections. Following the trainer’s guide, the boarding house manager clapped twice before she did anything to him; patting, going for a walk, putting clothes, taking a bath, or grooming. Yorom is doing good at the boarding house now.

With other dogs, Yorom doesn’t seem to have a big interest in other dogs so far. But he has made a couple of friends at the boarding house for the last week. The trainer said that he will get better as he becomes more comfortable and gains more confidence.

Yorom will do best with someone who is calm and confident; has a slow and relaxing lifestyle; has rescue dog experiences.

We are looking for her forever home in Toronto (firm).
