Update: Yongil has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

*Note: Yongil will arrive in Vancouver on Oct. 5th, 2021.

Yongil was rescued from the Yongin dog meat restaurant in Spring 2021 alongside he (we think) brother Yongyi and 14 other dogs. They were kept in crowded small wire cages waiting to be handpicked for slaughter.
Since his rescue, Yongil has been living at our partner boarding house with the other Yongin rescues, and over 80 other dogs. He is good with other dogs and is playful and gentle around them. Other dogs like to follow him around.

When Yongil was rescued, instead of hiding at the back of the cage he would come up and stick his nose out to humans for attention and pets. He was very obedient during his first bath and grooming as well. At the boarding house, he enjoys the company of staff and volunteers, and is always looking for company and pets. He is a very friendly, outgoing, and affectionate boy who will make an amazing companion to a very lucky family.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
