* NOTE: Due to recent flight/travel restrictions resulting from Covid-19, it will take longer for your adopted dogs to get to you. Please only submit an application if you are able to wait until a flight volunteer can be secured. Please note we currently do not have a definitive timeline.

Our regular method of transporting dogs using flight volunteers has drastically decreased due to current flight/travel restrictions. An alternative, quicker option of flying via cargo can be made available, although at a greater financial cost. The cost can range from $1500 CAD to $3500 CAD depending on the size and weight of the dog, airline, and destination city. Dogs traveling via cargo will be able to arrive sooner as they are not dependent on travelers to bring them.

Toro is a lucky dog who was rescued from a high kill shelter last year in Korea. He has always been friendly and sweet to people, but when it comes to other dogs he can be quite selective.

Toro spent 6 months in training school to help him with his reactivity with other dogs and has recently graduated! He has made tremendous progress and has learned how to approach other dogs, and for most part ignores them most of the time.

Toro’s ideal home would be with an adult couple (1 or 2 person household) with no kids or other pets. It will be important for his family to be dedicated in continuing his training and provide him with a strong and consistent leadership as well as clear rules and boundaries. Toro will attempt to rule the household if you let him!

His ideal family would also have experience with training, more specifically with reactive dogs and using slow introductions with other dogs. It is important to set him up for success and provide the proper environment for him to grow and thrive. Also, he will need a house (not a condo/apt) with a fenced in-backyard in a quiet suburban neighborhood.

Toro currently lives at his training school in Yangpyung, Korea.
