Tani

 NOTE: Due to recent flight/travel restrictions resulting from Covid-19, it will take longer for your adopted dogs to get to you. Please only submit an application if you are able to wait until a flight volunteer can be secured. Please note we currently do not have a definitive timeline.

Our regular method of transporting dogs using flight volunteers has drastically decreased due to current flight/travel restrictions. An alternative, quicker option of flying via cargo can be made available, although at a greater financial cost. The cost can range from $1500 CAD to $3500 CAD depending on the size and weight of the dog, airline, and destination city. Dogs traveling via cargo will be able to arrive sooner as they are not dependent on travelers to bring them.

Tani was found on the streets in Pyungtaek city, Korea. He was sent to a local shelter but it was full. Luckily, he was taken to a shelter volunteer’s home.

Tani’s foster is impressed that he is very well-behaved: he is quiet (he only barks when he gets his favorite treats or when he plays fetch outside). He is great on a leash and loves going for a walk. Tani is also very smart and obedient: he learns commands and new tricks very quickly. Tani is not a hyper dog, and shows no signs of separation anxiety at the current foster home.

Tani plays well with other dogs, but also he gets easily jealous. Probably it is better if he is the only dog in the house.

The ideal adopter is someone who enjoys outdoor activities with dogs. Tani enjoys physical and mental stimulation; agility training will be great for a dog like Tani.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
