Songyi was rescued 7 years ago as a stray wandering the streets. After her rescue, she has since been living in a shelter with other dogs. Last month, we completed her health checkup. Overall, she was in good shape and healthy. The only issue was that she was diagnosed with MVI (Mitrial Valve Insufficiency) stage B1. A murmur is heard but there are no visible signs of heart failure or heart enlargement. The vet has informed us no treatment or medication is needed at this time. However, the condition should be monitored by the vet on a regular basis.
Songyi is a very sweet, friendly and easy going girl. She gets along very well with other dogs at the shelter and is very affectionate with people. Despite her age, she is still very playful and loves going for walks. She is just a perfect fur companion.
Her ideal adopter is one living a relaxed lifestyle in a quiet home. Whoever adopts this baby will be very lucky.
