Get monthly updates about dogs like Shanel and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Shanel was tied to a tree in front of her owner’s house with the memo, ‘If you want this dog, call me.’ One of our colleagues in Korea saw it and got angry and contacted the owner. It turned out that the owner’s son beat the dog a lot so the mother decided to give her to somebody. The poor girl was eventually “rescued” and since then she has been living in a boarding house in Yangpyung, Korea.

Shanel is affectionate and loves to be around people. But she is not a big fan of other dogs. She is fine with other dogs, but doesn’t like big crowd, fights, noises, and excitements.

The ideal home for Shanel is where it is quiet and not many visitors or other animals around. Indeed, it would be the best if she is the only animal in a house.
