Saho was one of the 101 dogs who were rescued from the Siheung dog meat farm in Korea in May, when he was still a small puppy. After his rescue, he lived at our partner boarding house where he played well and made friends easily with other dogs.

Having grown up at the boarding house with hundreds of other dogs, Saho is well socialized with other dogs. With humans, he is slower to open up, but is very sweet and affectionate once given the opportunity to warm up. He likes the boarding house manager and volunteers and is often found following them around. He has a quiet personality and doesn’t bark much in his current environment.

His ideal adopter is one living a relaxed lifestyle in a quiet home. A house with a secure yard is preferred, as he is still young and is still learning about the outside world. His adopter should be committed to continuing his socialization with people and other dogs. Having another friendly dog in the home for Saho to play with and mirror would be very helpful.
