Get monthly updates about dogs like Renee and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Renee was found on the streets in Paju, Korea where she was wandering around looking for food and shelter. After she was rescued, she was brought to live at one of partner shelters. However, the shelter was very overwhelming for her and she struggled with the high noise level and busy environment being around over 80 dogs. After 6 months of living at the shelter, Renee was finally lucky enough to secure a foster home.

Renee is a little shy in new places and environments, but comes out of her shell after she is given time to get settled. Once she becomes comfortable, she is very sweet and affectionate to people she is familiar with. She is also friendly and playful with other dogs, although she is not a big fan of high energy or dominant personalities.

This sweet girl would do best in a calm and quiet home, much like herself. Her ideal adopter would be with a family where someone is home the majority of the day as separation anxiety can be common with rescue dogs. Experience with dogs, a secure fenced in yard, and/or another calm and friendly dog would be ideal.
