* NOTE: Phosa is with a foster family in Seattle.

Phosa was rescued as a stray, wandering around the streets scared and in search of food and shelter. She was about 2 months old at the time, and later lived at the shelter for 2.5 years before she flew to Seattle in search of her forever home.

Since Phosa grew up in a shelter environment, she is well socialized with other dogs and has never had any issues with any of her shelter mates, or her current foster brother.

With humans, she is shy in the beginning and takes some time to warm up. However, considering she had spent the majority of her life as a shelter dog with little experience, she has done extremely well. For the first few days, she would curiously and cautiously sniff her foster parents, and now craves being a pet. She has a quiet, gentle, and friendly personality.

Phosa’s ideal home is one with a relaxed, quiet environment, with a secure yard as she is still getting used to being outdoors. She would do well with another friendly canine sibling to mirror, or as an only dog where her adopters could socialize her often.
