Oyoung and her sister Osun (who was recently adopted by a wonderful family in Toronto) were found roaming around the streets together in a small village in Paju, Korea. After being picked up by animal control, it was discovered they were indeed microchipped. The information was under a dog cafe that closed down during COVID. The dog cafe owner had given them away to one of her patrons.

The sisters were likely dumped after, as the owner did not want them back after we tracked them down. She gave up ownership of the dogs and they were sent to a shelter. Luckily, they secured (separate) foster homes. Although they were found together, the sisters were not particularly bonded (they prefer the company of humans than each other) and did not mind being separated. Osun was recently adopted by a wonderful family in Toronto, and now it’s Oyoung’s turn.

Likely from her background of being in a dog cafe, Oyoung is a very social and affectionate girl. While her sister is more calm and relaxed, Oyoung is more outgoing and playful than her sister. She listens to her foster humans well and follows them around the house. She plays well with other dogs as long as they are friendly and gentle, and not dominant in personality. However, she does seem to prefer human companionship to that of dogs.

Oyoung is a little love bug, so her ideal family is one that has the time to spend with her at home. It’s difficult not to fall in love with her. She is going to make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family.
