Olie

Details:

  • Status: Adopted
  • Breed: Cocker spaniel mix
  • Age: 2 years, 0 months
  • Gender: Male
  • Spay/Neuter: Yes
  • Size: Small
  • Weight: 4 kg (8.8 lbs)
  • Location: Korea
  • Destination: Toronto

Update: Olie has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Note: Olie will arrive in Toronto on Dec. 22, 2021.

Olie was one of the three babies born after his mother Rosie was rescued from the Yongin dog meat restaurant. Rosie was kept at the back of the restaurant in cramped cages waiting for slaughter.

Olie has a very gentle, submissive, and affectionate personality towards both people and other dogs, but he is still young and figuring out the world. Adopter’s should be aware that although Olie was born into our care and has only known love and kindness, he has very little life experience due to his young age and knows little about life outside the shelter. This means cars, bicycles, elevators, etc will all be new to him and may take him some time to adjust.

His ideal family should be committed to continue socializing him with people and other dogs, and gradually introducing him to the great big world. A household where someone will be home for the majority of the day is ideal.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
