Update: Milo has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

*Note: Milo will arrive in Vancouver on Oct. 11.

Milo was rescued from a high kill shelter in Masan, Korea. It was so hot during the summer, the temperatures reached over 40 degrees celsius. He was in a tiny crate and had a very difficult time dealing with this heat, as he had to stay in his crate. A volunteer saw the suffering he was enduring and reached out for help. He is currently staying in a foster home.

Milo is a very easy going, gentle, and obedient boy. His foster family continuously praise him on how well behaved he is. He is not destructive, demanding, or vocal in their home. While he likes to follow them around and stay close, he currently does not show signs of separation anxiety.

When out for walks, Milo tries to play with the street cats. In the beginning he was afraid of them, but eventually started wagging his tail and wanting to play. He does not have experience with cats indoors, but has been very gentle with the cats on the street (who are used to dogs).

Milo would do well in a home where people will have the time to spend with him. He would appreciate a family who is active and enjoys the outdoors, and can include him on their adventures. Having another dog would be fine, but not a requirement. He gets along well with other dogs, but would also be fine being an only “child” as well.
