Lucca

Lucca was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Gangneung, Korea in 2017 and later lived in a boarding house near Seoul. He is currently living with a foster in Waterdown, ON (North of Hamilton).

Lucca was sent to training school after he was rescued in order to build his confidence and socialize him with people. Initially, everything and everyone scared him, especially loud and sudden noises. He’s since come leaps and bounds and graduated from his training program last summer.

Hanging out beside his humans and going for walks are among his favorite things. He gets along well with other dogs, but is more indifferent than engaging with them. Overall, he has a quiet and gentle personality.

Lucca still needs some guidance in building his confidence, especially in understanding rules and boundaries. His insecurities arise when he does not know what to expect, and ends up making up his own rules (which are not always be the right ones). He is learning not everything in life is free, and that even simple pleasures like sitting on the sofa require invitations. Because of this need, Lucca would require a confident owner who can provide him with rules and consistency.

This sweet boy has been through a lot, and has made huge progress we are all very proud of. He would be happiest in a home with a quiet and relaxed environment where he can spend time hanging out with his humans.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
