Kokoya

Details:

  • Status: Adopted
  • Breed: Border collie mix
  • Age: 1 years, 11 months
  • Gender: Female
  • Spay/Neuter: Yes
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: 22 kg (48.5 lbs)
  • Location: Korea
  • Destination: Toronto

Update: Kokoya has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

NOTE: Kokoya arrives in Toronto on Dec. 9th.

Kokoya was rescued from a high kill shelter in Korea. She lived with a foster family for a few months and was later moved to a boarding house after her foster could no longer keep her.

Kokoya is very social and playful. She loves dogs and humans all the same – running and playing with other dogs and then snuggling up with her humans.

She is a Border Collie mix, which means she is energetic, highly trainable, and intelligent. Her ideal adopter is with a family who is familiar with the breed (or herding type breeds) and knowledgeable in how to keep her physically and mentally engaged (including agility, possibly). She would do best with an active family who enjoys being outdoors and lives in a quiet suburban setting. Experience with large dogs and how to channel their energy would be preferred. Kokoya would be an excellent family companion.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
