Update: Kimmel has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Kimmel was rescued from a highkill shelter in spring, 2017. Since then, he has been living in the shelter for the past 5 years without any prospects of adoption. The shelter Kimmel lives in is very humble; there are few resources to afford him enrichment. He has to stay in his kennel most of the time, which is outdoors. We hope we can find his home in Canada soon so he does not have to endure his 6th cold winter where he only has straw from bedding/warmth, and plastic tarp to guard his kennel from the wind.

Kimmel is very sweet and obedient to the shelter staff and volunteers: he is so happy when he gets attention. When it comes to other dogs, he is selective. Like most shelter dogs (probably they are so tired of living in the shelter with so many dogs), he is not a big fan of other dogs. In fact, he seems most happy when he is alone in a quiet environment with people only. He becomes like a little baby; peaceful and happy.

We don’t want Kimmel to stay in the shelter any longer than he has been. No one in Korea wanted to give Kimmel a chance, but we know the perfect family is out there for him, waiting to shower him with warmth and love.
