  • Spay/Neuter: Yes
  • Size: Medium
  • Weight: 14 kg (30 lbs)

Update: Kai has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Note: Kai will arrive in Toronto on Sep 5, 2022.

Kai was one of the 101 dogs who were rescued from the Siheung dog meat farm in Korea in May.

Despite the horrible circumstances he was rescued from, Kai has been very adaptable to all the changes to his new life and freedom. He does well with the dogs at the boarding house and is playful and makes friends easily. He is also social with people, and curious with strangers. He likes to stay close by and receive pets and cuddles.

This good boy’s ideal home would be with someone who lives a relaxed lifestyle while being active and enjoys outdoors activities like hikes, etc. He would love another doggy sibling to run around and play with and learn from, although he would also be fine as the only dog in the household. Kai would love enjoy a secure yard to run around and lounge in. However, this would be a preference and not a requirement for adoption. Whoever adopts this gentle, sweet baby is very lucky.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
