Update: Julien has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Julien had been treated very poorly by an abusive owner: no food or water were provided: exposed to harsh weather; always chained up.

One day Julien was discovered by a local animal lover. He was hanged from a tree but still alive. It was obvious that Julien was raised for meat by the owner. Since then Julien had been extreamly scared of being touched. Any physical contacts made him freeze.

But nothing lasts forever. He is being well taken care of by our amazing shelter manager, Jinaok. Julien sleeps with her on the same bed at her house. It’s been only a month but we already start seeing a big improvement. Although he is still a little bit skittish around strangers, he likes to be petted and snuggle.

He is looking for his forever loving home in Toronto.
