Update: Jueney has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Note: Jueney is currently with a foster family in Iowa, USA.

Jueney was one of 70 dogs rescued from a dog meat farm in Jeungpyeong, Korea last year. After her rescue she lived at a shelter and later a private boarding house before flying to the US in hopes of finding her forever home. She is currently with a foster family in Iowa.

Given her already traumatic background, moving in between living situations has understandably impacted Jueney. She is a bit shy and tentative when meeting new people and in new situations, but will warm up quickly. Once she is given that chance, we see a very lovely and spirited girl. Although shy she is also curious, quiet, gentle, and affectionate.

One of the few things that has been a constant in Jueney’s life is being around dogs. She has always had the company of canine friends at the shelter, boarding house, and in her current foster home. She is friendly and playful with other dogs, and finds comfort and confidence when around them.

Jueney’s ideal home is where people have the time to spend with her, and have the patience to build up a bond together. Having another dog (or dogs) in the home whom she has played with and mirror would likely help her settle in faster. This sweet girl has been through so many changes and wants nothing more than the stability of a forever home.
