Jimi was rescued from a dog meat farm last winter. He was locked in a small cage with other dogs.

Jimi is a quiet and gentle boy. He is very patient, obedient, and submissive. Gernally, he is good with other dogs but doesn’t like a bossy, hyper and loud dog. He especially gets scared of big dogs. When he was captured in the dog farm, there were many big dogs who scared him. Living with big dogs barking and fighting all the time was probably a very traumatic experience for him.

In the cage, Jimi was with Audrey, a small dog seen in the video below. Jimi was  really a good friend of her that although he was scared, he always tried to protect her from other dogs. Audrey found her forever home in Toronto. Now it is Jimi’s turn!

Jimi is very sweet to people that he knows but is a little bit nervous around strangers. Jimi would be perfect for someone who is looking for a quiet and sweet companion dog. Someone living a relaxed life in a quiet neighborhood would be great.

Currently, he is with a foster in Nanaimo, BC.
