Jiho (brown puppy) was rescued from a dog tonic shop at Chilsung market in Daegu, Korea. Dog tonic is a medicinal extract made by boiling a dog in a slow cooker along with herbs such as ginger and jujube. Some believe that the tonic has medicinal properties and increases stamina. Jiho and his siblings were all rescued.

Jiho is a sweet puppy who likes to snuggle and smooch. This is what his foster parent said about Jiho.

He seems very happy and silently interested in new things. On occassion he barks at a noise in the hall.  I tell him no.  He stops and comes for a kiss. He is undeniably affectionate.  From the very moment he came off the plane he’s shared his warm personality.  Jiho socializes at the park with his dog walker and their group daily. He’s learning etiquette from the older dogs. Jiho has a very kind nature. He’s very affectionate and sweet.  I’ve been practicing putting my hands in his food while he eats and taking his bones, he just kisses me. He loves to cuddle, or sleep. He has a few toys he now likes to have in his bed. We have a five pound pomeranian at home. She tells Jiho what to do all the time. He doesn’t seem to mind. He’s very nice to her, even when she’s not as nice to him. Jiho is very handsome and noble in appearance but his personality is even more appealing.
