Jay is one of the dogs rescued in Jeju Island, Korea a few weeks ago. The dog owner got sick and was not able to keep the dogs. So he tried to sell them to a dog meat seller. Someone living in Jeju contacted us and asked for help and that was how Jay’s family got rescued. But it wasn’t the end of the story. Jeju Island is far from where our current shelter is located. We had to find a way to bring the dogs to Ilsan, north west of Seoul. Thankfully, Changyui Hong, volunteer truck driver, transported them to Incheon. It was two days of a long drive.

Jay is a mother of three puppies, but recenly her puppies have been adopted by families in NYC. She is very sad because she is left alone in Korea. We are looking for her forever family ideally in NYC so she can meet her babies sometimes. When Jay was rescued, she was very skinny that we could see her ribs. Jay has gained more weight since then and she looks much better now. She loves people and attention. Who will be the lucky person adopting this adorable girl?
