Janghee

Update: Janghee has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

Janghee was found on the streets in 2020, Paju, Korea. After being rescued, she lived with other dogs at a dog boarding house before making her way to Canada to find her forever home. She is currently with a foster in Vancouver, where she lives with 2 other dogs.

Janghee is a quiet, mellow, and submissive girl. While initially shy and reserved with her foster, it took her about 3 days to open up and get settled in her new environment. Having been around other dogs at the boarding house and her current home, she is good with other dogs but also will be ok as the only dog in the home. Janghee currently feels insecure with her food and does not like it when other dogs come too close to her when eating or receiving treats. However, she has no issue with humans, or sharing toys.

With her sweet and calm personality, Janghee enjoys human companionship. She is obedient and easy going, without being needy or demanding. She walks well on leash, but will sometimes freeze when she gets startled, but continues on with some encouragement from her handler. She is a low to medium energy dog who does not need vigorous exercise.

Janghee currently does not react to squirrels or birds on her walks, and doesn’t display much of a prey drive. Although she does not have any experience with cats, she might do fine in a home with one given her lack of prey drive, although proper integration is still needed.

Janghee’s ideal adopter is someone who lives a relaxed, easy going lifestyle in a quiet neighborhood and a small (2-3 person) household. Humans with circumstances where they can spend the majority of the day with her is ideal, as she enjoys human companionship. Janghee is a lovely girl. Whoever adopts this baby will be very lucky.

The adoption fee for Janghee is $560 CAD.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
