Get monthly updates about dogs like Iljin and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Iljin was one of the seven dogs who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Hongsung, Korea. They were locked in a room and lived in unsanitary conditions. One day, their owner got into an accident and was hospitalized. The dogs were left alone with no food or water until a neighbor discovered them several weeks later. By that time, it was too late and five dogs were found deceased. The seven surviving dogs were sent to live at our partner boarding house.

Iljin is a little bit shy around strangers, but she becomes very sweet and affectionate once she gets comfortable. Iljin likes to play with other dogs. In fact, we are specifically looking for a home where Iljin will have another small, friendly, and playful sibling as she grew up with siblings and seems to be happier with other dogs.

Her ideal adopter is someone who has experience with dogs and has the patience and understanding to let her settle in slowly at her own pace.
