Update: Hoya has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

*Note: Hoya will arrive in Vancouver on Oct. 5, 2021.

Hoya was rescued from an owner who raised her for trade. She was originally with 3 other dogs, who were sadly slaughtered during Boknal earlier this year. A neighbor who caught on to what the owners were doing with their dogs saw Hoya remaining, waiting for her terrible fate, and endeavored to save. After her rescue, she was brought to our partner boarding house.

This sweet girl is a typical puppy who is happy and playful, although her personality is still developing. She plays well with other dogs, especially smaller dogs her size, and enjoys being around people. She can be vocal at times, so a detached dwelling is preferred for her.

Her ideal home is with a family who will be committed to continuing her socialization with humans and other dogs. It is important to note although she is very happy and playful currently at the boarding house, as a young puppy she also has limited experiences in life, so changes could be difficult for her in the beginning. This includes getting used to new people, environments, leash training, and being outside. Her adopter should be prepared to deal with these potential challenges and have the patience and understanding to help her get settled.
