* NOTE: Heedol is currently with a foster in Toronto

Heedol was rescued from a highkill shelter in Korea last summer. Due to overpopulation in the shelter, he was locked in a cage so small he could barely sit up straight or turn around. After being rescued, he lived in a boarding house with other dogs.

Heedol has typical labrador personality traits. He likes people and is obedient, gentle, sweet, and goofy. At the boarding house he did fine with other dogs and enjoyed their company, but wasn’t too interested in playing with them. He preferred to play with people and play fetch. Playing fetch is Heedol’s absolute favorite thing to do. He loves toys – bones, Kongs, and balls most of all (or anything that bounces). In fact, he could probably play fetch for hours!

Heedol is still adjusting to life in Canada since his arrival. He currently shows signs of anxiety (pacing around, walking in circles, and sometimes whining) but has improved each day and is learning to settle and decompress. All he needs is a bit of time and patience.

His dream home is a house with a large fenced in yard and a quiet laid back family who also enjoys walks and outdoors. A home with another friendly dog is ideal. Experience with dogs (understanding dog behavior and cues) as well as experience with large dogs is highly preferred.

Vaccination Details
