Update: Emma has found a forever home in Toronto. Yay!

Emma was rescued with her puppies from the Hwasung dog meat farm. During her rescue, she bolted out no knowing she was actually being saved. It took a month, but we eventually caught her and brought her to the safety of our partner boarding house, where she reunited with her puppies and has been living since.

As she had such a high flight response during her rescue, we expected her to be much more scared and skittish when she arrived at the shelter. However, she settled in much quicker than we anticipated, and has shown to be very social with both humans and other dogs. She is friendly towards the other shelter residents, and plays well with them. With people, she is very sweet and always looking for affection.

Her ideal adopter is someone who has experience with dogs and lives in a quiet neighborhood. Someone patient and good at communicating with dogs will be great.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
