*NOTE: Free Korean Dogs is continuing to process applications for our adoptable dogs. However, recent flight restrictions beyond our control have hindered our ability to transport our dogs from Korea until July 2020 (or it may take longer) due to COVID-19. If this is a time line you are able to work with, please submit your application. If you meet our criteria, we will contact you for an interview.

Chani was rescued from a highkill shelter in Masan, Korea last year. Since then he has been living in a boarding house with other dogs.

Chani is a little bit shy around strangers. It usually takes about a couple of weeks for him to get comfortable around new people and dogs. He is quiet, obedient and follows people that he knows well. Chani gets along fine with other dogs, but is scared of dominant or hyper dogs. It seems that he is most comfortable in a quiet place as the only pet. It will probably take time for him to build confidence.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with dogs and lives in a house in a quiet neighborhood.
