Bong-Goo was rescued from a dog meat farm in Namyangju, Korea last year by Winzard of Hope volunteers. He is a Dosa dog who is the most common dog breed seen in Korea’s dog farms. While Dosa is the most popular breed to the dog meat business men due to their large body size, for the same reason they are the least popular breed for adoption. In fact, Dosa dogs have no chance for a second life in Korea.

Bong-Goo is a very cheerful and active dog. He likes going for a walk and playing with people. Sometimes he shows a little bit of aggression over food and treats, but most of the time he is fine with other dogs. Bong-Goo has to learn manners and social behaviours but we see great potential in Bong-Goo to become a wonderful family companion. If you are the person who can train and communicate with traumatized dogs well, you are the great candidate.
* Bong-Goo has been adopted in Korea.
