Bokshil and Bokdong are sisters who were rescued from the cabbage field in Busan, Korea. Their mother gave birth to six puppies and then one day just disappeared. The owner of the land rescued the puppie and took care of them for awhile but couldn’t keep them. Eventually, the two puppies were sent to a local shelter run by the Buddhist nun, Heogong.

Bokshil is a little bit shy around strangers, but after spending sometime together she becomes a very affectionate girl. She is good with other dogs as long as they are not  aggressive. She gets scare of big, aggressive dogs. Bokdong like her sister, she likes to be around people. Very sweet, loving girl.
