Get monthly updates about dogs like Bokja and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Bokja lives in a small shelter in Changnyung, Korea that is run by the Buddhist nun, Heogong.

She was surrendered by a man in the town who raised dogs to sell. But after the dog owner lost his son with a sudden death, he realized that what he had been doing with dogs was wrong.

As you can see in the video, Bokja is very energetic, playful, and funny. But the best part of Bokja is her passionate affection towards people that she meets.  She loves people so much and always wants to play.

The ideal family for Bokja would be a couple who enjoys outdoor activies. Bokja will be very happy if she gets to play a lot outside with other dogs and her mama and daddy.
