Background
Wooyou was found on the streets of Paju in spring 2024. Wooyou is a gentle and sweet dog, but she had no luck finding her forever home in a local shelter. This spring, she joined our adoption program and stayed at a boarding house with other dogs until she left Korea. Now in Vancouver, Wooyou lives with two cats and is waiting for her forever family.

Personality & Socialization
Wooyou is calm, quiet, sweet and very gentle. She has a medium to low energy level and prefers peaceful environments. She gets along well with other dogs, especially gentle and quiet ones, but she’s not an active player. Instead, she enjoys simply being around them, watching the world go by.

Wooyou’s happiest moments are spent by your side. She loves to snuggle, soak up gentle pets, and quietly enjoy your love. Submissive, friendly, and well-mannered, she’s the sweetest companion.

Behaviour
Wooyou is a calm and easygoing girl. She’s well-behaved, not destructive, and doesn’t make trouble. She’s calm during car rides, vet visits, and even bath time. She doesn’t bark. She is a very quiet baby. While she may get a little nervous in new situations, she trusts her person and quietly allows herself to be cared for.

Health & Diet
When Wooyou was first rescued, she tested positive for heartworms and anaplasmosis. Thankfully, she completed treatment and is now fully recovered and healthy. She’s spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and receives regular monthly parasite prevention.

Ideal Home
Wooyou would be perfect for someone looking for a quiet, gentle, sweet companion. She’d do especially well in a calm home with someone who has time to share with her. She could also be a lovely match for a household with a senior dog, as she’s respectful and not overly playful.

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion to simply share your days with, Wooyou might just be the one. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much—just a little love, a soft place to rest, and a calm heart to lean on. Whoever adopts Wooyou will be very lucky.
