Shasha

Background: Shasha is one of the lucky dogs rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, as part of our “Save 100 Dogs” project last winter. Since her rescue, she has been living in our boarding house alongside other dogs.

Personality and Socialization: Shasha is an affectionate, playful, and social girl with mid-to-high energy. She absolutely loves being around people—soaking up cuddles, following you around, and always wanting to be the center of attention. When it comes to other dogs, Shasha gets along well—she’s never shown any signs of aggression. She’s respectful of other dogs’ space and understands when they want to be left alone. But at heart, Shasha is a people dog through and through. Her absolute favorite thing is simply being with her humans, hanging out, and soaking up every moment together.

Behaviour: Shasha is easygoing and trusting when she’s with her people. She does well in the car and doesn’t mind baths. She enjoys walks and outdoor adventures, though new places can make her a bit nervous at first. With a little patience and encouragement, she warms up quickly and is happy to follow your lead. Shasha prefers to do her potty business outdoors, but she’s also pee pad trained and will use them indoors if needed. She’s a smart and adaptable girl.

Health and Diet: Shasha is in good health following a full veterinary checkup. She’s spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on monthly parasite prevention. Shasha eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Shasha would thrive in a home where she gets lots of love and attention. Her affectionate and people-oriented nature makes her a perfect match for someone who works from home or is retired. Shasha is the ultimate “velcro dog.” She bonds deeply with her humans and just wants to be near you—whether it’s snuggling on the couch, going for a walk, or quietly sitting by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Shasha is a perfect fur baby.
