**Note: Rose is available for adoption in Vancouver. Her flight from Korea to Vancouver has been scheduled for April 13.
Background: Rose was saved from a city shelter in Iksan, Korea last summer. She had also spent time in other private shelters before joining us. She is a Korean spasari mix.
Living Environment: Currently, Rose lives with other dogs at our partner boarding house. She came to us in February and has adjusted very well.
Personality: Rose is calm, gentle, submissive, and friendly. She would make a wonderful companion for someone seeking a gentle friend.
Behaviors: Rose behaves well on a leash and enjoys spending time outdoors. She is comfortable with car rides and grooming. She is very quiet and rarely barks, and is non-destructive.
Socialization: Rose gets along well with both small and large dogs, always being gentle and friendly. She is also very sweet and affectionate towards people, enjoying staying close to them. She is mellow, friendly, and always wears a smile.
Health: After being rescued, Rose received treatment for heartworms and anaplasmosis. She is now healthy with no ongoing issues. Rose has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. She also receives monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes and has shown no signs of allergies so far.
Ideal Home: The perfect adopter for Rose would be someone who enjoys spending time with their dog, especially if they work from home or are retired. Rose’s wonderful temperament and personality make her an excellent furry companion.
