Puru

Background
Puru and his brother, Wandoo, were rescued this past spring from a city pound in Milyang, Korea, as part of our “Save 100 Dogs” campaign. Since then, they have been living with other dogs at our boarding house.

Personality & Socialization
Puru is a gentle, quiet, and friendly boy with a calm spirit. He has a medium energy level and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—he truly shines when he has a friendly canine buddy to cuddle and play with. While he may be a little shy at first around strangers or in unfamiliar places, it doesn’t take long for his sweet nature to come through once he feels safe. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t beg for attention, but quietly works his way into your heart.

Behaviour
Puru is well-mannered and easy to care for. He can be a little unsure during car rides, grooming, or bath time, but he remains gentle and trusting throughout. He’s still learning how to walk on a leash, but he enjoys his walks once he feels comfortable. Puru also loves his toys and thrives when he’s surrounded by his human and dog friends.

Health & Diet
Puru is in great health. He’s been fully vetted—neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receives regular parasite prevention. He eats dry kibble and has no known allergies or special dietary needs.

Ideal Home
Puru would do best in a quiet, loving home with another gentle dog who can be his companion and playmate. A family that works from home or has someone around most of the time would be ideal.

He’s a mellow, sweet little soul who’s waited a long time for a family of his own. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted companion to share your days with, Puru might just be the one.
