Pomi has come a long way from her challenging past. She was one of the fortunate 1,400 dogs rescued from a harsh life in a puppy mill in Hwasung, Korea in September. In that bleak environment, she endured confinement in a dark, dirty cage, deprived of fresh air and sunlight, forced to have puppies for profit. But thanks to the dedication of compassionate souls and a remarkable rescue mission, Pomi’s fate took a turn for the better.
Pomi became a part of our loving care just last month, and she has already undergone thorough vet check-ups to ensure she is in excellent health and ready for her forever home. What truly sets Pomi apart is her playful and sociable nature. She is great with other dogs, especially small dogs, and is also very affectionate and sweet to people. She radiates happiness and has a heart full of love to share with her future family.
Like most puppy mill survivors, Pomi is still learning the ropes. She’s partially pee-pad trained and new to a leash. Her new family should be patient and understanding, guiding her gently as she adapts to everyday life.
Pomi’s ideal match would be someone who works from home or is retired, providing plenty of quality time for their beloved fur baby. Patience is key, as Pomi may need a little time to adjust fully to her new home, but the rewards of her love and loyalty will be immeasurable.
