Minju

Background
Minjoo was rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea, earlier this summer. Minjoo’s two puppies were rescued first because of limited shelter space, and they have all been adopted by loving families in Toronto. Now, it’s finally her turn to find a forever family of her own. Minju has been living well with other dogs at our partner boarding house.

Personality & Socialization
Minjoo is a sweet, medium-energy girl who is both affectionate and smart. She loves people and is very obedient, quick to learn, and eager to please. Around other dogs, she enjoys the company of friendly, gentle companions, but doesn’t like overly hyper, vocal or dominant personalities. Overall, she has been an easy dog to care for—attentive, bright, and eager to connect.

Behaviours
Quiet and well-mannered, Minjoo has shown no signs of separation anxiety and is not destructive. She prefers outdoor potty breaks but can also use pee pads indoors when needed. She travels well in the car, behaves nicely during vet visits and baths, and walks politely on leash, though she may feel a little nervous in brand-new environments at first.

Health & Diet
Minjoo has had a full veterinary checkup and is healthy, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She has been dewormed and is on regular monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Ideal Home
Minjoo is a gentle, easygoing dog who would fit well into many types of families. She would thrive either as the only dog or alongside another friendly, well-mannered companion. Smart and affectionate, she quickly understands routines and adapts beautifully. Whoever adopts Minjoo will be very lucky to have her.
