Mandoo 2

Background
Mandoo was rescued this summer from a city pound in Buan, Korea. Since then, he has been living at our partner boarding house with other dogs, waiting patiently for his forever family.

Personality & Socialization
Mandoo is a gentle, quiet, and mellow boy with a wonderful medium energy level. He loves people and enjoys cuddles and attention. He may be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable.

He also gets along very well with other dogs, especially with small gentle dogs. If another dog is bossy, dominant, or loud, Mandoo walks away. He is such a sweet and easygoing little guy.

Behaviour
Mandoo does well with car rides and has shown great manners during vet visits and baths. He uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty spaces. While still new to leash walking, he’s making steady progress, and his future family should continue his training with patience and positive reinforcement. Mandoo also enjoys toys—he can happily entertain himself or join in playful fun with other dogs.

Health & Diet
Mandoo is microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated. When rescued, he tested positive for Hepatozoon canis, a tick-borne parasite, but he received treatment and is now healthy and ready for his forever home. He has been dewormed, is on monthly parasite preventatives, and eats dry kibble with no known allergies.

Ideal Home
We’re looking for a home with a flexible schedule, as young dogs shouldn’t be left alone for long hours. Someone who works from home or is retired would be an ideal match. With his mellow and affectionate personality, Mandoo would be a great fit for first-time dog parents or as a companion for another friendly dog. His future family will be very lucky to welcome such a gentle, loving boy.
