Gomgom

Background
Gomgom and Gombyul were found neglected in a small village in Changnyeong, Korea, this spring. Their owner no longer wanted them, and they were left without the care and protection they deserved. Our shelter manager found them and brought them to safety.

Personality and Socialization
Gomgom has quickly shown everyone what a happy and social boy he is. He is friendly with both men and women, comfortable around children, and loves spending time with other dogs. He especially enjoys playing with dogs who have a similar energy level and playful spirit. Affectionate and full of charm, Gomgom loves being involved and is always happy to join in the fun.

Gomgom has not had any experience with cats. Because he is curious and may enjoy chasing them, a home without cats would likely be the best fit for him.

Behaviours
Gomgom is a very easy dog to live with. He prefers to do his business outdoors and enjoys going for walks. He rides well in the car, behaves nicely during veterinary visits and bath time, and walks well on leash.

Gomgom may not do well being left alone or being confined for extended periods of time. He may become stressed and bark when he feels isolated or unable to be with his people. Other than that, Gomgom is a fun, affectionate, and loving boy who is a joy to be around. He has a wonderful personality and brings lots of laughs, warmth, and happiness to everyone around him.

Health and Diet
Gombyul is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and receives regular parasite prevention. He is healthy and ready for his forever home.

He has no known medical conditions or allergies and eats dry kibble twice a day.

Ideal Home
Gomgom would do best with someone who is home most of the time, such as someone who works from home or is retired. Rather than living in a condo, he would likely be much happier in a house with a backyard where he can enjoy more space and time outdoors.

More than anything, Gomgom loves spending time with his people. His ideal family would enjoy a quiet but engaged lifestyle and be ready to share life’s everyday moments and adventures with him. A family who wants to enjoy the journey together with a happy, playful, affectionate companion would be a wonderful match for Gomgom.
