Dalong and Jaelong are a bonded pair who were rescued from a dog meat farm in Busan, Korea in 2017 spring. They were about one year old at that time. After being rescued, they lived in a temporary shelter built on top of the mountain for two years. Unfortunately, the shelter was shut down in October, 2019. Since then they have been living with other dogs at a foster home.
Jaelong (smaller one) is a very social, friendly and affectionate dog while Dalong is still a little bit shy around people. However, they are both good with other dogs; they don’t appreciate aggressive dogs, but they are gentle and friendly to other dogs.
They both are house-trained; non-destructive; Jaelong is leash-trained (Dalong is still learning); has no separation anxiety; obedient and very quiet (the foster said that she has never heard of them barking inside the house).
The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with dogs and lives in a house with a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood.
They are both a 4 year old female Shiba Inu and Jindo mix. Dalong is 13 kg and Jaelong is 9.5kg
The adoption fee for the bonded pair is $980 (tax included).
