Cholong 2

Background: Cholong was rescued from a city pound in Milyang last fall, narrowly escaping euthanasia. He spent six months in a loving foster home before joining our boarding house to continue his journey toward adoption. Now he lives peacefully with other dogs, waiting for his forever family.

Personality and Socialization: Cholong is an absolute sweetheart. Gentle, affectionate, and easygoing, he gets along beautifully with people of all ages—men, women, and children. He might be a little shy at first, but give him a bit of time and he’ll quickly open up. Once he trusts you, he’s all love—tail wags, cuddles, and heart-melting gazes.

He’s also great with other dogs, especially those his size with polite manners. Playful but never pushy, he enjoys friendly dog company. He hasn’t met any cats yet.

Behaviors and Training: While living in his foster home, Cholong had no separation anxiety and was calm and quiet. He’s fully housetrained and prefers to potty outside, though he’ll use pee pads if needed. He’s also well-behaved during vet visits, baths, and grooming—earning plenty of compliments at the groomer! Cholong enjoys his walks and walks well on leash.

Health and Diet: Cholong is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He receives monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He has no known allergies and enjoys his dry kibble twice a day.

Ideal Home: Cholong would thrive in a calm, loving home with people who can spend plenty of time with him. He’s perfect for first-time dog parents or families looking for a gentle, friendly companion. A retired person or someone working from home would be ideal—Cholong just wants to be near his people and feel loved.
