Bangre

Background
Bangre was rescued this spring from a city pound in Milyang, Korea. Since then, Bangre has been living at our partner boarding house with other dogs, waiting patiently for his forever family.

Personality & Socialization
Bangre is a friendly, quiet, and mellow boy with a lovely medium energy level—playful and lively, but never overwhelming. He loves people and enjoys cuddles and attention.

He also gets along very well with other dogs, big or small as long as they are friendly. If a dog is bossy, dominant, or loud, Bangre walks away. He is very a lovely and sweet little boy.

Behaviour
Bangre has done well with car rides and has shown good manners during vet visits and baths—the vet staff even complimented him for being so easy to handle. He uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty spaces. While still new to leash walking, he’s making progress, and his future family should continue his training with patience and positive reinforcement. Bangre also enjoys toys—he can happily entertain himself or join in playful fun with other dogs.

Health & Diet
Bangre is microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated. When he was rescued, Bangre had Hepatozoon canis, a tick-borne parasite, but he was treated and is now healthy and ready for his forever home. He has been dewormed and also takes monthly parasite preventatives. He eats dry kibble, has shown no allergies.

Ideal Home
We’re looking for a home with a flexible schedule, as young dogs shouldn’t be left alone for long hours. Someone who works from home or is retired would be an ideal match. With his mellow and affectionate personality, Bangre would get along with almost anyone, first time dog parents, or someone looking for a second dog. His future family will be very lucky to welcome such a gentle, loving boy.
