* NOTE: Due to COVID19 and a shortage of flight volunteers, the dog was transported by cargo flights, which costed around $2,500 CAD. Free Korean Dogs would appreciate a contribution of $1,000 from future family towards the cargo fee to help with transportation and costs. The total fee for Dubu is $1,960 CAD ($960 CAD for adoption+$1,000 CAD for cargo flight).  Dubu is currently in Vancouver.

Dubu was a stray dog who lived in a construction site. Last March she gave birth to a beautiful girl, Hanmo. Some of the workers from the construction company tried to help the mom and her puppy but they felt that the construction site was not safe for the dogs. With good intention, they sent the dogs to a local shelter. However, soon after the dogs’ names appeared on a euthanasia list. It was so lucky that they were saved before being euthanized. Both dogs were relocated to a safe dog boarding house and last winter, the puppy, Hanmo, came to Toronto and met her forever family. Now it’s Dubu’s turn!

Dubu is such a sweet and friendly dog. She likes to play with other dogs and show her love and affection to people. Dubu is a very social, easy-going, and obedient girl. Whoever adopts Dubu is very lucky.

* Dubu means ‘tofu’ in Korean.
