Wink

Update: Wink has found a forever home in Vancouver. Yay!

Wink was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Korea earlier this year. She was likely severely neglected, or abandoned as a result of medical issues. Due to an eye infection, she was scheduled for euthanasia and was rescued before her time was due.

Unfortunately, her eye was so badly infected it had to be removed. However, her remaining eye has no issues, and Wink doesn’t seem to realize she only has one eye. She functions and gets around perfectly well without issue.

Wink is very cuddly and affectionate with humans, who’s company she craves. She also does well with other dogs, although she prefers to be humans if given the choice. She has a calm and quiet personality, and doesn’t bark much. However, she is claustrophobic and does not enjoy being crated as it is likely reminiscent of her time at the high kill shelter.

Wink’s ideal home is in a home with a quiet and relaxed environment. She would do great with older or senior adopters, someone looking for a work from home buddy, or anyone looking for a quiet companion and has the time to spend with her.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
