Tien

Tien was an approximately 6 month old stray cat when he started coming to our partner boarding house every day. He was a very social cat who was always approaching humans asking for pets and food. He always stayed near the shelter, refusing to leave. Every time EK, FKD’s executive director, visited the boarding house, he was always there. Unfortunately, he had to live outside enduring the hot summers and cold winters as it wasn’t safe for the boarding house manager to let him in. There were too many dogs with a prey drive who tried to attack him.

During EK’s most recent visit, she decided to bring Tien to Canada with her. So, Tien left the shelter and took a flight with EK across the ocean in search of a better life he deserved.

Tien is almost like a dog trapped in a cat’s body. He is super snuggly and affectionate, and has a goofy personality.

His ideal home is with a family who works from home or is retired, as Tien likes to be with his people. He would require a home without any dogs (or a small, gentle dog who is respectful of cats)

Tien was neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Heartworms and parasite tests were done. He is a 2.5yr old Korean short hair cat. 5kg.
