Kyungsoo was found at a gas station in Paju, Korea. He was roaming around trying to find food; a heavy rusty metal chain leash was attached to his neck. He was very skinny and ill. It was fall in 2014. Since then, he has been living in the shelter almost for 8 years without any prospects of adoption. The shelter that Kyungsoo lives in is very humble; there are few resources to afford his enrichment. He has to stay in his kennel most of the time, which is outdoors. We hope we can find his home in Canada soon so he does not have to endure his 9th cold winter where he only has straw from bedding/warmth, and plastic tarp to guard his kennel from the wind.
Kyungsoo is sweet and obedient to the shelter staff and volunteers: he is so happy when he gets attention. When it comes to other dogs, he is selective. Like most shelter dogs (probably they are so tired of living in the shelter with so many dogs), he is not a big fan of other dogs. In fact, he seems most happy when he is alone in a quiet environment with people only. He becomes like a little baby; peaceful and happy.
We don’t want Kyungsoo to stay in the shelter any longer than he has been. No one in Korea wanted to give Kyungsoo a chance, but we know the perfect family is out there for him, waiting to shower him with warmth and love.
Kyungsoo’s adoption fee is $460 CAD ($360USD).
DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
