Kamang was one of 32 dogs rescued from a dog meat farm in Busan, Korea in 2017. Kamang lived in a local shelter for 3 years but after the shelter was shut down she was moved to a foster home. She has been living there with other dogs since October 2019.

The previous shelter manager and the current foster parent said that Kamang would be a great companion dog. She is very gentle and submissive; she plays well with other dogs and never made troubles.
