Hugo was one of the 101 dogs who were rescued from the Siheung dog meat farm in Korea in May, where he was rescued as a small puppy with his siblings. After being rescued, they were moved to our partner boarding house where they lived and grew up with other dogs.

Having grown up and been around other dogs his whole life, Hugo does well with other dogs and is friendly and social. He is a little bit shy around strangers, but after getting to know you, he is a very sweet boy that enjoys attention.

His ideal adopter is one living with another friendly dog in a quiet neighborhood. We would prefer him to have a house with a secure yard, as he is still young and is still learning about the outside world. His adopter should be committed to continuing his socialization with people and other dogs.
